Often we hear the phrase “If you want something done give the job to a busy person.”
One of those busy people is Dave Adams, who is very active as a volunteer with the Chamber.
Dave Adams is the Executive Director for Five Counties Children’s Centre Foundation and gives tirelessly of his time to many local organizations including Canadian Mental Health, Junior Achievement, Easter Seals, Special Olympics, and the Lindsay & District Chamber of Commerce. He has taken over the role as Chairperson for the Membership, Programs & Event Committee here at the Chamber; as well he is involved in several community events such as the Santa Claus Parade, Classics on Kent and more.
Dave Adams exemplifies true community spirit and passion for this community. Thank you Dave for all your time and effort you give to the Lindsay & District Chamber of Commerce and to our community as a whole.

Volunteer opportunities are available to match your interests, talents and available time commitments.
These are some of the volunteer opportunities available:
- Board of Directors – time commitment: roughly 5 hours/month – sets the direction of the Chamber with the use of a strategic plan and monitors progress throughout the year
- Committees – 3 hours/month time commitment:
