Recently the Lindsay & District Chamber of Commerce conducted a survey where it explored its membership’s views regarding the Lindsay Airport. A media announcement was made inviting the public to attend an information session on January 14, 2008 at City Hall where input on the future operations of the Lindsay Municipal Airport was heard from the Airport Task Force. (January 18, 2008)

- Chamber Hosts Small Business Week Breakfast
The Lindsay and District Chamber of Commerce will once again host the Small Business Week Breakfast. The breakfast will be held on Tuesday, October 16 at the Fleming College Auk’s Lodge. Registration and networking begins at 7:00 a.m. with breakfast being served at 7:30 followed by guest presentations.

Several of the most popular events of Classics on Kent will return in the 2007 line up of events. Saturday, July 14th classic cars and hotrods will parade down Kent Street while heading to a giant car cruise at A &W.
