The first record of an Anglican service in Lindsay was dated November 27, 1836. They are a diverse group of people who come together to support one another in prayer and friendship and to grow in the understanding of how God is working in each other’s lives. St. Paul’s Anglican Church wants to provide a unified Christian community which loves and shares together as it reaches out in worship, Christian education, and community concerns. It has been said that worship is the centre of Anglican life and that is certainly true for the people of St. Paul’s. This importance is reflected in the many thriving church groups that support and directly participate in their weekly and special services – Lay readers, Lectors, Servers, Choir, Chancel Guild, Greeters and Sidesmen, to name a few. It certainly makes for a large turnout when they host an appreciation breakfast! They offer a wide variety of groups, such as youth groups, book club, happy cooks and more.
