Lindsay & District Chamber of Commerce

The Lindsay & District Chamber of Commerce represents more than 600 businesses and associations in the southern half of the City of Kawartha Lakes including the communities of Lindsay, Omemee, Pontypool, Little Britain, Cameron, Woodville and Kirkfield. It is a voluntary organization of individuals and businesses who join together to advance the commercial, financial, industrial and civic interests of our community. It is a public relations vehicle, a legislative monitor at the local, provincial and federal levels of government, a business and tourism information bureau and a promotion medium.

Event Spotlight

Community Conference

Kicking off celebrating 50 years of service in the business community, the Lindsay and District Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Kawartha Lakes CFDC, Junior achievement & Fleming College, will be hosting a free, informative Community Conference. 

Join us on Tuesday, February 7th from 5-7pm or Wednesday, February 8th from 7-9am in the Crombie Theatre at Fleming College, to hear presentations from different groups in the community regarding topics such as: current government grants, how to start a business, job training resources, opportunities for youth in business and much more.  There will be refreshments, entertainment, as well, as announcements on special activities regarding the celebration of the Chamber’s 50th anniversary.

 Evening of Excellence

EVENING OF EXCELLENCE NOMINATION FORMS AVAILABLE ONLINE NOW!
The Lindsay & District Chamber of Commerce is currently looking for nominations for the annual Evening of Excellence, which will be held on Friday, March 30th, 2012 at the Victoria Park Armoury.  A total of 14 awards will be handed out that night, including the prestigious "Citizen of Year" Award. 

If you would like to nominate an individual or business, you can fill out the form online or download the form and fill it out, and return all documentation to the Lindsay & District Chamber of Commerce, by February 24th at 5:00pm.
